Ok i know there is no "best" or whatever ive heard this from too many people... But please just pick the best staff out and ignore best

I want to buy the best.

IMO Get a set of collectors for each req. Put whatever mods that fit your builds best. A 10/10 or 10/20 can be good if your using a crossclass build. For wands/offhands good recharge casting time is good, possibly a +5 energy wand, but overall energy is a little overrated.

For a mm you need death magic...a really good death magic weapon is Bortak's Bone Staff...i think it will go well w/ the 15k black tormentors(same as me)

what? Bortaks SET (cesta and claw) is by FAR the best for MMing. 40/40 on death and +1/20% on death, how can u beat that?

lol for the price 20/20 collector staff in desert. get the +5 energy head and I got a 18% dm +1 on mine.

my gold bone staff owns for my SS/Sv build. got it in a drop doing the scarab queen.

insightful bone staff bone staff of curses
cold damage: 11-22 (req. 8 death magic)
halves recharge of curses (chance 19%)
halves casting time of curses (chance 18%)
energy +5
curses +1 (Chance 18%)

its not perfect but i still like it.

Did you add the mods to it or was it dropped that way? There is a 20/20 collector curse staff that has a curse req as well.

For a minion master, I would have to say Insightful Bone Staff of Death Magic. Use the 20/20 collector death staff. You get:

Energy +10
Cold damage: 11-22
Improves casting speed using Death Magic skills (Chance: 20%)
Improves skill recharge using Death Magic skills (Chance: 20%)
Energy +5 (Insightful)
+1 Death Magic (Chance: 20%)

It's most likely cheaper than the Bortak combo. You get 20/20 instead of 40/0. Plus the +3 energy is unconditional.

lol, my bad on 40/40, i havent looked at stats in awhile, i knew "sumthin" was 40. :-P anyhoo, but when MMing, casting time is much more important than recharge, as if u got fiends and minions skills, they barely ever overlap to where u have wait, (less you get like a back to back half casting time on both of em, lol, which happens sumtimes). but its much better to get undead up quicker and less risk of being interrupted. yeah, a 20/20 staff with insightful and +1 death would work, but i dunno, i though +1/20% death wraps go for about 100k, (which plus insightful and cost of staff would make it about exacly the same as bortak set cost)...

i have a pimpish gold SS/blood/Orders staff.

Accursed Staff, max damage, req 9 in curses, 10% cast on all, 15% recharge on blood skills, energy +5, hp +30

With Bloodstained Boots, you can get corpse spells to cast very fast. 25% faster, then 40% faster. I'm not sure if they are stacked or incremental.

When using curses i have a collectors wicked staff 20/20 on curses with a +5nrgy head and a wrapping of curses+1(20%)(got wrapping for 10k lol)
When using blood I have a gold truncheon 11-22 10%cast/10% recharge and collectors 20/20 off hand,its the shizzle
